Sandie Shaw, 74, Born In 1947 – Always Something There to Remind Me
Sandie Shaw has got to be one of the biggest names in the British music scene during the ’60s. She had three U.K. No. 1 singles with the songs Long Live Love, Always Something There to Remind Me, and Puppet on a String. With that last song, the English songstress saw herself win as the first British entry in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Shaw eventually decided to retire from the music industry in 2013. The Times reported in 2020 that the 74-year-old singer had already forgiven her ex-husband Jeff Banks after claiming he blew her wealth and left her to live in a caravan five decades ago.
