“The First Lady of Motorsports” Linda Vaughn

Linda Vaughn has had a unique career timeline if we look at her journey from her childhood. While she studied as a dental technician, a win in a beauty contest led her to run for Miss Atlanta in 1961 when she was only 18. Another victory in that pageant bought her to race tracks to flaunt her beauty and glamour.

However, the central turning point in her life was when she became “Miss Hurst Golden Shifter” out of 200 contestants. Vaughn later branched out into films based on her past success and appeared in titles such as “Stroker Ace” and “Gumball Rally.”
