This remarkable talent, best known as Batgirl, is actress Yvonne Craig. She started as a ballerina, training with Alexandra Danilova before moving to Los Angeles, where she found herself fascinated by acting. While she’s done only about a dozen films, she’s been in numerous TV shows, including, of course, the 1967 “Batman.”
In an interview with Closer magazine, she said that she didn’t even know what Batman was when she was initially cast for the show. She studied about it, though, and was the perfect fit after she did. In 2020 she published her autobiography titled “From Ballet to the Batcave and Beyond.”
