VISIT THE PAST AND RECALL THESE LEGENDARY CELEBRITIES THAT WE ONCE LOVED

Barry Manilow, 77, Born In 1943 – “Could It Be Magic”

In the ’70s, the legendary Frank Sinatra was a self-assumed Barry Manilow fan, and he’s reportedly even said Barry was “next.” While Manilow never quite reached the status of the great Sinatra, he did manage to become one of the most accomplished singers in America, crafting hit songs as timeless as “Could It Be Magic,” “Copacabana (At the Copa),” and “Can’t Smile Without You.”

Still active today, Manilow is probably very sad at the moment: in April 2021, it was announced that his longtime collaborator, Jim Steinman, had died from kidney failure. Manilow and Steinman, who was a songwriter/producer, worked together on many hit songs over the years.
