Petula Clark, 87, Born In 1932 – The Little Shoemaker
Remember Petula Sparks? If you don’t, she is a British singer, actress, and composer, with a career spanning over eight decades. That’s right—her career started at the young age of seven and is still active to this day (despite being 87 years old).
Clark started entering music charts with the song The Little Shoemaker. Later, she earned international recognition with songs like Sailor, Romeo, and I Know a Place. Clark’s latest album, Vu d’ici, was released in 2018. We haven’t heard her name in a while, although, in 2020, the United Music Foundation released a Collector’s Edition that includes her music.
