Oprah Winfrey – $300 Million
Oprah Winfrey isn’t known as the queen of all media for nothing. With $2.5 billion in the bank, she is America’s first African American multimillionaire and is renowned as one of the greatest African American Philanthropists. Winfrey rose to fame for her talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, which ran in international syndication from 1986 to 2011.
It has the highest ratings of any show of its kind in history. Besides her show, Winfrey is also famous for her role in the 1985 film The Color Purple, which earned her an Oscar nomination. Winfrey has won 18 Daytime Emmy Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, a Tony, and a Peabody Award.
