A Still From 1973’s “Enter the Dragon”
Arguably the most influential martial artist of his time, Bruce Lee, worked in around 30 films as an actor. His most popular remains the 1973 hit “Enter the Dragon.” In the movie, Lee’s character, a secret agent, comes to an island to take on a drug lord and his forces in an epic fighting tournament.
Lee contributed much to the industry. His new Jeet Kune Do technique became the inspiration for modern MMA, which has grown so much over the past decades. Additionally, he was the one who created the fighter stereotype for Asian males, who, until then, audiences had primarily seen in a very different light.
