Jay Leno might have gotten Kanye West for his premier premiere but the award for most memorable first guest appearance definitely goes to David Letterman in our books. When he joined the cast of the “Late Show,” Letterman opted for Bill Murray as his first guest.
Due to his over-the-top performances and pzazz, Murray has been a regular on the show and has thus given us some truly iconic moments. This includes one of the greatest TV entrances in modern TV in 2013 when he decided to show up to the set in a Liberace costume to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
