In September 2009, fans of Jay Leno were overjoyed as the TV personality was set to premiere his new program “The Jay Leno Show.” The debut became even more historic when Kanye West decided to pay a visit and set the record straight over his controversial MTV VMA outburst during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech.
Much like the fans and the media, Leno confronted the “Heartless” and did not hold anything back, even asking him how he thought his late mother would feel about his unacceptable behavior. The topic of his mother caused West to immediately burst into tears and the program ended up being an emotional roller-coaster.
