In the Disney+ film about the album, Taylor shared that she and Joe co-wrote “Betty” and “Exile.”

Both albums, featuring a more folksy sound, were critically acclaimed and adored by fans. “Folklore” won Album of the Year at the 2020 Grammys, and “Evermore” was nominated for the same award in 2022.
