In “Miss Americana,” director Lana Wilson follows Taylor during her Reputation tour in 2018 and the release of her “Lover” album in 2019. The documentary, filled with home videos and candid moments, allowed her to control her narrative like never before. Taylor and Joe Alwyn kept their relationship private, never walking a red carpet together.
However, at the 2020 Golden Globes, they made a public appearance by sitting together during the ceremony. She arrived solo in a stunning yellow and blue Etro gown featuring bold florals and a beautiful train. She was nominated for “Beautiful Ghosts” from “Cats.” Though she didn’t win, Taylor and Joe enjoyed the after-party together.
