Linda Thorson is a Canadian actress. She was the one who played the role of John Steed’s sidekick in the series “Bowler hat and leather boots”. The latter was released between 1968 and 1969 and was a great success. When casting for this role, she had 200 contestants. Armed with her beauty and talent, she decided to go to London in 1965 and she got the lead role. She replaced Emma Peel. Linda Thorson continued to act in series. In 2006, for example, she played the role of Rosemary King in the British series “Emmerdale”.
