Betty Brosmer, 84, Born In 1935 – Modern Man
Betty Brosmer was all about physical fitness and bodybuilding in her prime. However, she is currently retired, which seems reasonable given her age of 85. Back in the ’50s, Brosmer was a very popular model and pin-up girl, who appeared in Picture Show, People Today, PHOTO, and Modern Man.
Down the road, she met Joe Weider, a Canadian bodybuilder and magazine publisher, who stirred up her love for bodybuilding. Weider would later become her husband, and the two remained together until he died in 2013. Brosmer has also worked as an editor for Shape and co-authored two lengthy fitness guides with her husband.
