VISIT THE PAST AND RECALL THESE LEGENDARY CELEBRITIES THAT WE ONCE LOVED
Virginia Patton, 95, Born In 1925 – The Lucky Stiff

As a young adult, Virginia Patton was schooling at the University of Southern Carolina when she started auditioning for acting roles. Luck was tight, but after a few too many tries, she got in with an uncredited role in Thank Your Lucky Stars in 1943.
Patton’s career as an actress was limited to the ’40s, and we must add that most of her roles went uncredited. The most notable role of her brief career was that of Ruth Dakin Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life. After playing Millie Dale in The Lucky Stiff in 1949, the 95-year-old retired and went to raise a family with her husband, Cruse W. Moss.
