Jimmy Lydon, 97, Born In 1923 – St. Elsewhere
Jimmy Lydon was born to a family that got by hardly, and the Great Depression only made things worse. There was a point when he was clueless, not sure what career to pursue. Lydon lied about past acting experiences and landed his first role in Western Waters.
Well, it looks like a small lie didn’t hurt. It allowed Lydon to have an extremely successful career of 50 years before he decided to step down for good. His final appearance was as Harold O’Shea in St. Elsewhere in 1987. Today, the 97-year-old lives in Bonita, California.
