Glynis Johns, 96, Born In 1923 – Superstar
Like Rhonda Fleming, Glynis Johns, too, is a retired actress, although she is based in the UK. Johns first came to attention as a theatre actress, notably for her performances in A Little Night Music and Mary Poppins. She then played parts in popular films like The Sundowners and The Chapman Report making her one of the last stars alive from the Golden Age of Hollywood.
Johns earned much of her fame during the ’50s, which was right around the same time when her second marriage (and divorce) happened. She did go on to marry two more times. Her last film role was on Superstar in 1999.
