He might not have acted in a while, but that doesn’t mean that Gene Hackman isn’t alive and well! The last time he undertook a project, was to narrate the We, the Marines documentary in 2017. Hackman was born in 1930, meaning he’s 90 years old by now.
He’s won two Academy Awards in his time, for The French Connection and the Unforgiven films. Gene’s earned himself an $80-million fortune and has been married to Betsy Arakawa since 1991. The last film in which he played was Welcome to Mooseport in 2004, where he portrayed Monroe Cole.
