GEOFFREY RUSH, 70, BORN IN 1951 – SHINE

Geoffrey Rush holds legendary status in the acting industry. He sits alongside Al Pacino and Viola Davis, and a host of others as one of only 24 actors to have won the Triple Crown of Acting. He is famous for winning an Oscar for his role in the film “Shine.”

Rush won a Tony for his role in “Exit the King” and the Primetime Emmy for playing Peter Sellers in “The Life and Death of Peter Sellers.” He is also famous for his role in the “Pirates of the Caribbean franchise,” playing Captain Barbossa. In 2021 contributed to the documentary about his co-star Johnny Depp in “Johnny Depp: King of Cult.”
