Larry Bird & Dinah Mattingly
The iconic retired basketball player Larry Bird made history in the NBA, and part of that history made it to HBO Max in 2022. That’s right, “Larry Legend” is one of the characters featured in the much-anticipated “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty,” also starring the likes of John C. Reilly (‘Jerry Buss’) and Quincy Isaiah (‘Magic Johnson’).
A private man, Bird was briefly married to Janet Condra (with whom he had a daughter) before meeting his current wife, Dinah Mattingly. Bird and Mattingly have been husband and wife since 1989 and adopted two children together.
