Pat Sajak — $15 Million
While Pat Sajak is currently one of the most recognized Gameshow hosts on the TV thanks to his profile as the host of Wheel of Fortune, he was once infamous for a different reason. Sajak served in the military as a broadcast DJ on the Armed Forces Radio.
While hosting a show on Christmas, he accidentally cut off a message from then-president Richard Nixon. While this may have damaged his reputation with the military, his media career still carried on, and he went from being a weatherman to becoming the longest-running game show host in history.
