While Jimmy Kimmel has been hosting TV shows on both radio and TV since 1989, it’s since hosting the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show in 2003 that his star has indeed risen. Since then, he has hosted the Primetime Emmy’s three times and the Oscars twice.
Kimmel was one of Time magazine’s most influential people in 2018. Besides hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he also serves as producer for shows like Crank Yankers and Sports Show with Norm McDonald. He has also published an interactive book called the Serious Goose. In April 2020, Kimmel started hosting the celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
