Orlando Jones – 7-Up
As far as this list is concerned, members of the comedy show “MADtv” were so hilarious that companies resorted to them for commercials. 7-Up, for instance, tapped comedian Orlando Jones to be its spokesperson in 1999, making his line “Make 7-Up Yours” viral. Speaking about this stint, he noted how he had a lot of offers to do movies when he was asked to star in the soda campaign.
So Jones decided his appearance ought to be funny. Unfortunately, his work with 7-Up ended in 2002. Luckily, his career in Hollywood thrived, appearing in “Sleepy Hollow” and “Tainted Love,” and starring in “American Gods.”
