With a sigh, Toby stepped out of the store and swung a leg over his bike. During the ride back, he couldn’t help but replay the events, puzzling over the cryptic book and the mysterious Dr. Ellis. With no solid leads, Toby decided to kick off his detective work where every great adventure starts—the internet.
He flipped back to the article he’d found earlier about the book, eyeballing every word for a clue he might’ve skipped over. But, no dice. Even after reading it front to back and back to front again, he was no closer to finding his book.
