Kristiane Backer is a German TV presenter, TV journalist and author who started her career at the private radio station Radio Hamburg. She then worked until 1995 at the then exclusively English-speaking TV station MTV Europe and at the same time created the youth program Bravo TV on RTL II.
So far, so unspectacular. Kristiane’s private life is all the more exciting. Backer was in a relationship with Pakistani cricketer and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for several years until 1995. After the couple split up, Kristiane started dating Moroccan TV journalist Rachid Jaafar in 2006. Even before this marriage, kristiane converted to Islam, but the marriage broke up after just over 10 years.
