Most grooms and brides have big ideas about their special day. They want to stand out and have something different on that day to make everything more memorable. Not only for themselves but for their guests as well. We would imagine they did not expect it to submerge when they climbed on that dock.
The worst-case scenario would be the entire bridal party drowning. That would indeed be horrible. Luckily, this seems like merely a case of getting drenched. Wet garments can always be changed, and this will make for a really good story and a good laugh in the future.
