In the fall of 2009, Taylor was “Team Jacob” when she dated “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner. Dubbed “Taylor Squared,” they met on the set of “Valentine’s Day,” playing high school sweethearts. Their on-screen chemistry blossomed into real life, with paparazzi spotting them on dates and outings.
Lautner even presented her with a VMA for her “You Belong With Me” video at the 2009 MTV VMAs, where they shared a tight hug. But as she began her acceptance speech, Kanye West stormed the stage, declaring Beyoncé had one of the best videos ever. Taylor’s shocked expression proved it was not scripted, leaving her alone and bewildered on stage.
