In 2021, the Royal Foundation announced the creation of the Earthshot Prize, an environment-based award inspired by a speech delivered by the late John F. Kennedy in the early ’60s. JFK’s daughter Caroline Kennedy spoke greatly of the award, calling it a “great tribute” to her father. It’s yet another sign of just how important and influential the Kennedy family still is.
