The Never-Ending Feud
After Kanye West’s infamous 2009 VMA interruption, he publicly apologized to Taylor, who even wrote a song about it. Feud over, right? Not quite. In 2016, Kanye released “Famous,” claiming he made her famous. The controversial music video featured nude wax figures, including one resembling Taylor.
Outrage ensued, with Taylor insisting she never consented to being depicted this way. Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s wife at the time, accused her of lying and released a video of a phone call between Kanye and Taylor discussing the song. Taylor responded, stating she had never heard the song’s final version and wanted to be excluded from the narrative.
