We’ll likely never know when Taylor and Jake officially began dating, but suspicions arose when they were seen together filming “Saturday Night Live” in October 2010. According to InStyle, sources backstage noted they were cautious about being too close. The two were also spotted having brunch in New York City the same weekend.
However, their romance was short-lived. By early January 2011, they had clearly parted ways—Taylor spent New Year’s in Nashville while Jake was in NYC. This breakup wasn’t the end, though. Taylor’s song “All Too Well” from her 2012 “Red” album is widely believed to be about Jake, with fans keen to read between the lines.
