The Man with the World’s Longest Nose
Mehmet Ozyurek passed away in May 2023 at 75, and he was renowned simply for his extraordinary nasal dimensions. He left behind a legacy as the Guinness World Record holder for the longest nose. His nose measured an impressive 3.46 inches, while the average male nose is about 2.2 inches.
One would wonder whether such a nose meant he had super sniffing abilities. And interestingly, he had mentioned before that he could smell things others couldn’t. His exceptional feat was officially recognized by GWR in November 2021, adding to his previous titles earned in 2001 and 2010.
