We first met Airel Winter in 2002 when she appeared in a “Cool Whip” commercial. She was four years old at the time and later followed up that public introduction with a role in a single episode of “Listen Up!”
Once she was sure she’d gotten our attention, Winter voiced the character of ‘Gretchen’ on “Phineas and Ferb.” And if she seems familiar, it may be because she played ‘Alex Dunphy’ on “Modern Family,” appearing in 227 episodes and nothing less.
