Susan Tully may have retired from being an actress, but British fans will never forget her as Michelle Fowler in EastEnders, which she played for a decade between 1985 and 1995. The celeb who also portrayed Suzanne Ross in Grange Hill from 1981 to 1984 made a career shift and decided to become a director and producer.
Today, Tully has already directed more than 30 productions. She’s directed TV shows like Crossing Lines, The A Word, and C.B. Strike. Her newest project is the 2021 mini-series Too Close, led by Denise Gough and Emily Watson.
