Forget about that grill; boxing is what made George Foreman famous. This was after he Fought Mohamed Ali in former Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo) in the Rumble in the jungle in 1976. Foreman was the World Heavyweight Champion at that time. Although he lost the fight, he came back to become the champion once again.
The grill does play a pivotal role in Foreman’s wealth, though, as it moved over 100 000 units bringing him a rumored $4.5 million a month. He eventually sold the naming right for $138 million to appliance manufacturer Salton. Foreman also has various endorsements with companies like KFC and Doritos, among others.
